The video showed very simple steps in preparing and operating the cleaning tool. To prepare, you must first remove the clean water tank, open the lid and fill it with hot tap water up to the marked area. A cleaning solution must also be added to the water in the tank. The lid of the tank provides a measuring cup for the solution to maintain its right proportion with the amount of water. Make sure you secure the lid tightly before putting the tank back to the machine.

Before plugging the machine to an outlet, the video instructed users to make sure the power switch is off and unwrap the power cord. This can easily be done by rotating the top cord wrap hook. The machine must be placed in front of the desired cleaning area. Once it is in the right position, you may turn the power switch on.
To operate, press the soap and scrub button on top of the handle and slowly move the machine backwards in a steady line. To stop the cleaning solution, simply release the button after each pass. Repeat the process by placing the machine in front of another area, pressing the button, and slowly moving it backwards until the whole carpet is clean. A super boost spray option is also available for heavy duty cleaning.
