This video is a step-by-step guide on how to use a carpet cleaner, specifically the Bissell ProHeat 2x. This is especially useful to pet owners with carpeted houses, of which the video uploader is one. Since pets often have their “accidents,” he said, the carpets at their house would require a thorough cleaning every now and then.
Before using the carpet cleaner, however, certain steps had to be taken. Vacuuming the carpet was the uploader’s first act. Next, he pre-treated the carpet with a spot & stain remover to break down the accumulated dirt and grime. He let this soak for ten or fifteen minutes.
Getting rid of pet stains and odors
He then prepared the Bissell ProHeat 2x, which required some technical know-how of which cleaning solutions to put in as well as what setting to use for certain steps in the process. This is an integral part of any cleaning task. Knowing how to use your device before the cleaning even begins will save you time and errors.
By the end of the video, the uploader noted that the pet stains were gone and, as a final step, applied odor controlling solution to where the cat box was. Pet owners can also do this to eliminate any untoward smells emanating from pets’ areas.
There are several models from the Bissell ProHeat 2X series. One example is the Bissell ProHeat 2X Healthy Home. The Healthy Home is an older model that is not as popular in 2015. A newer model is the Bissell ProHeat 2X Advanced 1383.
