The Bissell PowerSteamer PowerBrush Full Sized Carpet Cleaner 1623 may have about half the power rating of Bissell ProHeat 2X, the best-sellling Bissell upright cleaner model. It sure packs a lot of cleaning power into it’s compact frame. Weighing around 19 lb compared to the 26 lb Bissell ProHeat 2X, it may be all you need to get the carpets clean. The price is also nearly half that of the Bissell ProHeat 2X.

It doesn’t have a built-in water heater, but that could be a blessing in disguise, as it makes the machine less complicated. This user is definitely pleased with it, and you can judge the results for yourself. He did not even use any carpet detergent.
